INNOVATIVE BIKE SHELTER
By Steven Campbell & Beau Becker
The bicycle has become a popular, quick way to travel and is an approach to preserving the environment. Thus, the University of Lorraine (France) proposes a new solution for secure bicycle storage, and ENSEM, UC, & CQU’s mission is to respond to this proposal by offering innovative solutions.

INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION
UC, ENSEM, & CQU
To address the need for a secure, environmentally friendly bike shelter at the University of Lorraine, an international team composed of 15 students from UC, ENSEM, and CQU was assembled. Of the 15 students, eight are ME students and seven are EE students. The ME and EE students were broken down into further groups based on prior work experience and skillset. Each student involved in the project played a valuable role in the success of the design of the Innovative Bike Shelter.
DESIGN DIAGRAMS
This slideshow shows the design diagrams and iterations for the multiple systems developed. Together we played a role in each of these designs, either directly or indirectly through our input and discussions with the other groups.

POSTER & PRESENTATION
Final Product
Below, one may find our final poster and poster presentation. This is the culmination of our hard work and dedication over the course of the last eight months. Though, while our work may be done in terms of meeting deadlines, we will continue to operate as part of the Innovative Bike Shelter team and provide input over the duration of the projects modeling and construction.
